GENERAL
CONSULTANCY SERVICES
Our
company is in a position to prepare feasibility
studies for investment in the mineral industry.
We organize workshops, seminars and lectures to
meet specific needs in the Earth Sciences, Field
Trips and excursions for corporate bodies in Nigeria.
Such workshops and field trips have been organized
for Benue Valley at various times in the last few
years.
These
include Books and other well researched Papers and
Publications by Dr. M. E. Offodile. Managing Consultant
of the company.

Geology of the Middle Benue (Doctoral
Thesis) ISBN 91-506-00080-X. Published
by Paleontological Institution of the University
of Uppsala, Sweden (Out of Print, but can be obtained
by special arrangement). This
is the doctoral thesis of the Managing Consultant,
Dr. M. E. Offodile which “apart from preparing
the geological map of part of the Benue Valley of
Nigeria, studied the economic potential of the project
areas and resolved the outstanding problems of the
Nigeria Stratigraphy which included:
- The working out for the first time the Stratigraphy
of the area and correlating it with the other parts
of the country and the south Atlantic basins.
- Relating the geological history to events connected
with the opening of the south Atlantic
- Resolving the problem of the late Cenomanian –
Turonian transgressions and
- Resolving the question of the direction of the
Maastrichtian – Paleocene transgression in
the Nigeria Sedimentary basin.
Important
diagnostic macro (ammonites) and micro (forams and
estracods) were described and used to set up the
stratigraphy of the area.
